Charity Clay Shoot

Lincolnshire held their Charity Clay Shoot at Revesby Estate, Lincs on Sunday 5th July 2015, in aid of Alzheimers Society, Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, Princes' Countryside Fund & Lincolnshire Young Farmers.

We raised a total of £2300 which was split between all the charities. A big thank you goes to Lee Sharp and his team which organised such a great event. Also thank you to Peter Wiggins-Davis for the lovely venue. The plans for next year are already underway!
 

Happy Anniversary Lincolnshire YFC

Lincolnshire Young Farmers were proud to celebrate their 40th Anniversary in June 2015. To celebrate this milestone they held an evening of dancing, eating and reminiscing with past and present members.

A big thank you goes to the team who organised the event and also to Duckworths Landrover who sponsored the event! Here's to another 40 years!!

 

County Harvest Festival 2015

On Sunday 25th October 2015 members of Lincolnshire Young Farmers attended the harvest festival at Lincoln Cathedral.

During the service Andrew Smith - County Chairman & Laura Wrisdale - Junior Member of The Year took part by doing a reading.

Also other members took part by carrying produce in the procession. After the service members also helped to serve Tea & Coffee and Plum Bread.

We would like to thank the cathedral for their kind donation to the federation and hope to be there next year!
 

Milly Wastie named as Inspirational Woman

Milly Wastie, former NFYFC Chairwoman was named as the National Inspirational Woman for her commitment to the Charity Sector among others.

Member helps to raise £40,000 for Charity

Amy Sharpe of Wainfleet YFC was part of a team from L. J Fairburn & Son who climed Mount Kilimajaro and raised £40,000 for Farm Africa.

£500 Grants

Lincs YFC clubs can apply for £500 grants to help pay for meeting room hire, promotional materials or equipment.

The county office can help with all the policy and data required.

 

First Woman in 12Years at helm of Lincolnshire YFC

Shannon Eaglestone County Chairman 2013-2014

Shannon Eaglestone, who volunteers for the club in her spare time with encouragement from the Louth-based co-operative, has been given the role of Chairman following ten years of membership and volunteering with the organisation.

HRH Visits Lincolnshire YFC

HRH the Prince of Wales visited members of Lincs YFC in 2011 at Riseholme College. He spent time talking to members about living and working in the countryside.
