 This has been the most wonderful base for our holiday. This really is the most beautiful cottage. We have loved biking Carsington Water, Tissington & High Peak Trail. We have had all meals outside on the lovely patio in the sun. We do hope that your special cottage gets the owner it deserves. -April 2015

What a wonderful week. We have eaten outside on the rose scented patio most evenings. If you are cyclists or walkers this is the place to be! Traffic free trails on the doorstep. We hope to be back soon.-July 2013

This is our 2nd visit and it felt like coming home. Sitting out in the peaceful courtyard garden has been a joy. We have renamed Carsington Water, Lake Garda as the water was sparkling in the sun. We always find something new to explore and enjoy in the picturesque area.-June 2013

Our Spring Holiday sprung a surprise - the coldest March for years!! However after sampling the beautiful peaceful area we returned to a lovely warm and comfortable cottage - one of the best we have ever stayed in.-- March 2013

The cottage provided a fantastic base for cycling and walking, and provided an extremely comfortable and luxurious welcome after our days excursions. The cottage lacked for nothing whatsoever and there were unexpected extras that made our stay even more special.-August 2012
