| Painting pottery is a great activity for anyone to enjoy. The studio offers a relaxing environment in which to create. Pottery painting is a firm favourite for all ages. Simply choose a blank or bisque piece (prices range from £5.00 up to £30.00 for the larger items). Rachael will guide you through how to use the under glaze paints, Just a few rules for the perfect pot. The rest is all about being creative with help from decorating tools, sponge stamps, fun writers and bumpy doodles. Painting can take between 1 and 2 hours depending on the size of pot and the age of the painter. Once the pot is painted it is left with me for approximately 7 to 10 days, 2 weeks if very busy to dip glaze and fire in my kiln. This process protects your pot and colours become a lot brighter. You then simply call and collect your finished masterpiece. You will be truly amazed.
