In January 2010 WJ Shirley Ltd was appointed drainage consultants for SEGRO’s purchase of 2.75 million sq ft of warehouses and airport cargo terminal from BAA. With just 5 days to complete multi-site inspections at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Edinburgh airports and a further week to complete full reports, we worked day and night to ensure the job was completed on time.

History

WJ Shirley was founded in 1928 by William John Shirley (Seymour's father). The business built houses up to World War II employing up to 20 men and moved to specialist drainage inspections in 1960.
